The Jackwolf Riders were a band of young Elves that served as hunters and protectors of Sorrow's End.
They were formed by Dart who volunteered to stay behind and teach the Sun Folk to hunt and protect themselves when the Wolfriders left Sorrow's End on a quest for the Palace of the High Ones. They take their name from their jackal/wolf hybrid partners; the heat tolerant offspring of local desert jackals and the Wolfriders' original wolf friends.
Members included Dart, Kimo, Dodia,Yun, Jethel, Chot, Shenshen, and Suntop.
